Blender illustration: the start

01 / THE START

Turn your idea into quests.
Let your AI team do them.

Describe what you want to build. QuestDesk turns it into missions and quests, your AI workers draft the work, and you approve every step and earn XP for what you accept.

Where are you starting?

Runs locally today. Three workers can be connected, each off until you enable it. No accounts, no pricing, no publishing.

02 / BRAIN

Tell it what you know.
Get steps you can edit.

Brain holds what you know about a business — vision, constraints, decisions, facts — and turns it into proposed next steps you can edit and save as quests. It plans and coordinates. It never starts work.

03 / TEAM

Every worker says
what it can't do.

Team shows each worker exactly as it is: what it genuinely can and cannot do, for which business, with which limits. Three workers can be connected today. They write proposals and drafts, or ask you one question. They cannot run commands, browse, change your project files or publish.

Team · by department

Drafts, plans and bounded code candidates for the product, each returned to a Control quest for your review.

  • Codex proposal writerConnectable today · drafts, and up to three candidate code files as a patch for review
  • Hermes workerConnectable today · text proposals only
  • CoderPlanned role · cannot run

Full cross-provider team coordination is still in development. Coder, Designer and Marketing are planned roles that cannot run.

Blender illustration: control

04 / CONTROL

Approve. Start. Review.
Three separate decisions.

Control is your quest inbox: Needs you, Ready, Working, Review, Done. Proposing a quest, approving it, starting a run, accepting the result and publishing stay separate decisions. Approval is bound to the exact brief you read; edit it and it needs your approval again. Every result comes back to you.

A proposal, not a start.

Brain or you propose a quest: what to do, why, which role, what a good result looks like. Adding it to Control starts nothing.

05 / DAILY QUESTS

One card at a time.
Today, later, or not at all.

Daily Quests deals the same quests Control shows, one card at a time. Swipe right for today, left for not relevant, down for later, or star the one that counts. Each card shows the real XP it can earn after review. A swipe only orders your day. It never approves spending, starts a worker or publishes anything.

Blender illustration: insights

06 / INSIGHTS

The numbers stay honest,
so the XP can stay fun.

Insights shows what your business actually did — visitors, signups, sales and recorded costs — each with its source, period and basis. Figures come only from read-only sources you connect yourself. Missing data stays missing; it is never shown as zero, and a target is never shown as money earned.

07 / VISION

The Q you saw first
is your progress ring.

Vision keeps the reason you started beside milestones you can actually reach: a roadmap saved in your local workspace and a vision board that stays in your browser. Neither is published. A milestone marked achieved with evidence is worth 150 XP — the largest reward in QuestDesk, because it is the hardest thing to earn.

THE BRAIN AS A UNIVERSE

See your business
as a universe.

In the workspace, Brain can be viewed in three dimensions: you above, Brain at the centre, purpose groups on the inner ring, workers and planned roles on the outer ring, quests orbiting whoever holds them. This is the same engine, drawing an example business. Drag to orbit. Click a node to open it.

THE LOOP

Describe. Propose. Approve. Review.
Level up only on the last one.

You don't need another business idea. You need to finish one. Five beats, repeated for every quest.

  1. 01

You describe the goal and your limits.

  2. 02

Brain proposes quests you edit and save.

  3. 03

You approve a brief and press Start — or do it yourself.

  4. 04

A draft, one question or your own result comes back.

  5. 05

You accept or request changes. Only an accepted result earns XP.

MISSION PROGRESS

Four ways to earn XP.
None of them is a click.

XP comes only from results you reviewed and accepted, and milestones you marked achieved with evidence. Starts, approvals, answers, worker activity and spend award nothing. Levels are derived from the same logs every time; nothing is stored or reset.

The four rules

  • 40Worker result accepted after review
  • 30Your own recorded result accepted
  • +15Accepted after a real change-request round
  • 150Milestone achieved with evidence

Awards nothing: proposing, approving, starting, answering a question, heartbeats, delivered-but-unreviewed results, failures, cancels, tokens, money.

Illustrated milestones, not your account progress. Real levels are earned in your workspace from reviewed results; business results stay separate.

These values are a first calibration and may change.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

Straight answers.

What you can try today, what it costs, and what never happens by itself.

What can I actually try today?+
Guided setup, Brain records and proposed quests, Control with revision-bound approval and review, Daily Quests, Mission Progress, the 3D Brain universe and Insights from sources you configure — all in the local workspace. Three workers can be connected and are off until you enable them. Broader AI teams and public accounts are not live yet. XP and levels exist in the local workspace and come only from results you reviewed and accepted.
How do I get started?+
Open the workspace and choose Start a business or I already have a business. Five short steps — Path, Business, Goal, Limits, Review & save — capture your goal, context and limits. Nothing becomes a business, a Brain record or a quest until you press Save. Saving a plan never approves or starts an agent.
Do workers start work or spend money by themselves?+
No. A run needs your approval bound to the exact brief, your usage consent and your Start click, inside a daily allowance you set. One generation runs at a time. Allowances count generations and measured tokens, never money; provider cost stays unknown until you check your account. Choosing a priority in Daily Quests never approves an agent run. Publishing is unavailable in this preview; no publish endpoint exists.
Where does XP come from?+
Only from results you reviewed and accepted — 40 for a worker result, 30 for your own recorded result, 15 more when the acceptance follows a real change-request round — and from milestones you marked achieved with evidence, 150. Swiping, approving, starting, answering a question, worker activity and spend award nothing. There are no streaks, badges or public profiles.
Can I use my own AI tools, and what will it cost?+
Today the workers are a local Ollama model on your machine (no provider charge; your hardware and electricity still count), the signed-in Codex CLI and a Hermes Agent profile on your PC. Each runs one bounded call per approved quest — one slot, a 180-second timeout, a draft or one question back — and paid providers bill their own usage. Claude and other chat models are not connected. Product pricing is not set.
Is anything on this page live?+
No. The film, the panels and the universe are illustrations of the workspace, drawn without any connection to it. The page cannot read your workspace. Your real Brain, quests and progress live in the app.
