Your email, and what we do with it.

QuestDesk is in early development and run from Norway. Today the only way to share anything with us on this site is the early-access waitlist. This page explains what that stores, why, and how to have it removed.
Who is responsible
QuestDesk is the controller for the waitlist. Questions and requests go to privacy@questdesk.app.
What we store when you join
- Your email address.
- The date you joined and your place in the list.
- Where you came from, if the link you followed said so: the campaign labels in the address (
utm_source,utm_medium,utm_campaign,utm_content), such as “instagram” or “bio”. If the link had no labels but you came straight from Instagram, TikTok or a Facebook or Instagram ad link, we keep only that site’s name (“instagram”, “tiktok” or “meta”), never the click ID or the page you came from.
We do not store your IP address, device or browser details with your entry. To stop abuse, the server briefly counts sign-up attempts per network address in memory; that count is never saved and expires after an hour. People who joined through an earlier version of the form may also have given a name and short answers about their business; those are kept with their entry until it is removed.
Why, and on what basis
We use your email only to tell you about your QuestDesk invitation and early access: when a place opens for you, and updates about getting in. We use the campaign labels to see which of our own links bring people to the waitlist. The basis is your consent, which you give by joining. You can withdraw it at any time, and we will remove your entry.
We do not sell your data, share it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
Emails
We have not sent any waitlist emails yet. Before we do, we will name the email service we use on this page.
Where it is kept
The waitlist is stored in the EU: a database run by Supabase and our server run by Fly.io, both in their Frankfurt, Germany regions. Only the QuestDesk owner can open the waitlist, after signing in.
How long
We keep your entry until you ask us to remove it, or until the waitlist closes. If the waitlist closes, entries that have not turned into accounts are deleted.
Cookies
The public pages of this site set no cookies and use no tracking or advertising scripts. A necessary session cookie is set only when an invited member signs in.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, or take a copy with you. Email privacy@questdesk.app from the address you joined with, and we will reply within one month. If you think we handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
Changes
If we change how we use your data, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not use your email for anything new without asking you first.
